Lift of the Year 2024: Manawa Bay Shopping Centre

SCC was proud to take home the 2024 New Zealand Crane Association Lift of the Year award for our Liebherr LR1280 lift at the Manawa Bay Shopping Centre Project by Savory Construction. A big thank you to Jason Bourke and Paul Thornhill for their work on this project, making it possible with precise planning and problem solving.

Brian Perry Civil and SCC also won the People’s Choice award for the Kaitoke Pipe Bridge Lift using our Favco 96T Tower Crane.
Congratulations to the HEB Construction team for winning the Project of the year award for the Manawatu Tararua Highway – Te Ahu a Turanga Alliance Project using multiple of our cranes. Well done to all involved in these projects and congratulations on the win.
