Harriet - Can Carry It Goes up at Auckland Airport

The newest crane at Auckland Airport went up recently and proudly bears the name Harriet Can Carry It, thanks to Rochelle, age 8, from Mountain View School.

Her winning entry in Auckland Airport’s recent “Name that Crane” competition with construction partners Hawkins earned her a $300 Prezzy Card, a model crane, and $1,000 for her school. Runner-up Lola, also from Mountain View School, impressed with her entry too, winning a $200 Prezzy Card and a miniature crane model.

This crane is part of the Domestic Jet Terminal development and we’re sure you’ll agree, Rochelle’s creativity has truly lifted this project to new heights!
