Liebherr 542HC-L Luffing Tower Crane Dismantle

Our team recently dismantled our Liebherr 542HC-L Luffing Tower Crane in Auckland.

Our 400t mobile crane with 49m luffing jib, 90t mobile crane and 40t Franna were used as support cranes for this dismantle with a lifting radius of 45.5m. Thanks to the Downers team for hiring our Tower Crane and organising the access to make the demob possible. Special thanks to our dedicated Auckland SCC team who worked through these challenging conditions to achieve a great result for our valued client, Downers.

After dismantling our Liebherr 542HC-L Luffing Tower Crane from the Downers Site in Auckland our team was quick to erect the same crane up at the Kalmar fabric 2 project. This was completed within 6 days with our Liebherr LTR1100 as the main crane with support from our Liebherr LTM1060-3.1 crane. This was a huge effort and quick turn around from across the business including our yard-based team completing a service and maintenance on the crane ready to start at the Kalmar Fabric 2 project in Smith colours.
